Smart Technology Solutions continues to position our partners at the forefront of new technology with the release of support for VeriFone's new MX870 system. With this support, STS becomes the only systems integrator globally capable of supporting the MX870 with full EMV Level 2 functionality.
VeriFone's exciting new system is seen as an insight into the future of payments technology, providing standard PIN pad technology, but also adding full-motion video, a 65,536 colour display, high quality digital sound and highly secure transaction capabilities into a single, easy-to-use, multi-purpose device. As well as its recently obtained EMV Level 1 hardware certification the system also complies with Payment Card Industry (PCI) specifications.

This addition of the Mx870 to the STS supported range continues the exciting work STS has completed with VeriFone's devices in the past year and follows on from the integrated support for their new VX range of devices including the new VX670 Wi-Fi enabled PIN pad.
