We are delighted to announce the appointment of Wendy Dobson as Director for Business Development (EMEA). In her new role Wendy will be responsible for developing product strategy and leading future product launches. She will utilise her extensive industry experience to identify opportunities in Europe in response to the growing demand for a rationalised payments infrastructure.

Wendy joins STS from Transaction Network Services (TNS), where she held the role of Business Development Director, responsible for identifying various payment opportunities across Europe. Wendy evolved into her role at TNS following the acquisition of Comms XL where she held the key role of Sales Director for over 10 years. There she was integral to making them one of the top 5 EFT providers in the UK and responsible for an impressive year on year growth.

In total Wendy has over 20 years experience in the electronic payments market place, including sales roles with Barron McCann Limited, a reseller for ICL/Fujitsu products. In all these roles she has used her proven understanding of commercial and technical issues to generate new business opportunities, many resulting in multi million pound deals. Crucial to her new role will be the excellent relationships with card schemes, banks and other industry bodies she has developed and maintained throughout her extensive career.

Wendy brings a wealth of commercial experience and exposure to high profile European IT and financial markets. This will be valuable to our commitment in providing future proof payment technology for all and for ensuring a successful launch of G8way.
