Emvelink
Emvelink is a software-based EMVCo certified Level 2 Kernel for Chip and PIN transactions. Emvelink is used in over 120,000 points of sale in the UK, Europe and North America and is considered the world's leading EMV Level 2 software Kernel. Emvelink supports over 30 PIN pads from the leading payments hardware manufacturers.
Using a software based EMV Level 2 kernel provides easier upgrade and management, whilst ensuring a truly scalable solution for any new application requirements, for example loyalty.
STS won the Visa EU and CEMEA Chip Vendor of the Year Award 2002 for Emvelink for its potential to have the most impact on Chip and PIN roll out in those regions.
